Rømø Island is home to one of the widest beaches in Northern Europe — at low tide the tidal flats extend up to 3 kilometres from the dune line, creating an enormous flat-water playground for kiteboarders, speed riders and land boarders alike. Consistent westerly winds, hard-packed sand and virtually unlimited space make it ideal for high-speed runs and big air. The island is easily accessible by causeway from the mainland.
